They are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to the development of scalable, resilient applications while working in a collaborative, cross-functional product environment. What You’ll Be Working On
Product & Application Development
- Design, build, and enhance applications in partnership with product, design, and engineering stakeholders
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, including prototyping and proof-of-concepts where required
- Develop clean, production-grade code with a focus on maintainability and scalability
- Contribute to system design decisions, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term sustainability
- Support application deployment pipelines and ensure smooth releases into cloud environments
- Maintain system performance, reliability, and availability in production environments
- Continuously enhance features while managing technical trade-offs and reducing risk
Engineering Excellence & Delivery
- Apply modern engineering practices to improve delivery quality and speed
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to uphold coding standards
- Proactively identify areas for improvement, including technical debt and workflow inefficiencies
- Use data (e.g., system performance, incidents, delivery metrics) to guide improvements
- Contribute to establishing effective engineering practices, tools, and processes
- Strengthen development workflows and reduce friction for engineering teams
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and deliver incrementally
- Partner with stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Collaborate with team members to embed quality, security, and reliability into the development process
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Core Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
- Around 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering within Agile environments
- Strong programming experience in languages such as Java or C# (.NET)
- Experience building and integrating APIs and working with structured data systems
- Familiarity with modern application architectures across front-end, backend, and integration layers
- Experience delivering and supporting systems deployed on cloud platforms
- Understanding of building scalable, high-availability systems in production environments
- Ability to make sound technical decisions aligned with long-term architecture goals
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, including code quality, testing, and system design
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

- Exposure to large-scale or enterprise platform implementations
- Familiarity with data migration or transformation processes
- Experience working across a mix of custom-built and packaged solutions
- Awareness of security, compliance, and data protection considerations in regulated environments
