Client introduction
Our client is a well-established investment bank with a strong presence across Asia and a global network of offices. They are creating a new Senior Support Analyst (FIX connectivity) role in Singapore to support their cash equities trading business. The successful candidate will take ownership of local FIX support and client onboarding, working closely with traders and clients, with backing from experienced regional teams.
 
Job responsibilities
  • Support daily FIX connectivity for the cash equities trading desk, resolving issues affecting electronic order flow and execution messages.
  • Handle client onboarding from connection setup through to FIX testing, certification and go-live.
  • Act as the local point of contact for traders and clients on FIX connectivity matters, providing clear updates through to resolution.
  • Work with infrastructure teams, vendors and overseas colleagues to set up and maintain reliable trading connections.
  • Deliver FIX connectivity changes and projects, keeping support procedures and documentation up to date.
 
Job requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in trading technology or application support, with strong hands-on FIX expertise.
  • Proven experience in both FIX production support and independently handling client onboarding and certification.
  • Good understanding of cash equities and electronic trading flows, including DMA and DSA.
  • Experience with FIX engines such as Cameron, Appia or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, including investigating FIX messages, logs and connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with FIX testing and monitoring tools, such as VeriFIX, Kibana, Grafana or ITRS.
  • Experience working closely with trading desks and handling client-facing FIX onboarding or support, with clear communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently on a trading floor while coordinating with overseas teams.
