What you'll do
- Design and ship production GenAI solutions — LLM applications, RAG architectures, agents and copilots — on real healthcare data
- Build NLP capabilities for document intelligence: entity extraction, summarisation, classification and semantic search
- Own the full ML lifecycle end to end — problem framing, modelling, deployment and monitoring
- Establish evaluation frameworks, guardrails and prompt-engineering standards
- Partner closely with product, engineering and business teams, and mentor junior data scientists
What you'll bring
- At least 6 years of experience in data science / ML, with recent hands-on delivery of NLP and Generative AI solutions.
- Strong Python and SQL; solid grounding in modern ML and deep learning
- Practical experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and vector databases
- Cloud and MLOps exposure — ideally Azure and/or Databricks, plus containerisation and CI/CD
- Clear communicator who can influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Healthcare, insurance or other regulated-data domain experience is a strong plus
