Our client is a leading international technology organisation with a strong presence across Southeast Asia. As part of its continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Legal & Contract Management Lead to join its international team.
 
This is a management role role with responsibility for overseeing contractual activities across a diverse portfolio, providing strategic commercial and legal guidance, and leading a contract management professional. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business, project, finance, procurement and legal stakeholders across the region
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end contract management across tenders, negotiations, project delivery, variations, claims and close-out.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements while advising stakeholders on contractual, commercial and project risks.
  • Manage contractual obligations, governance, correspondence, claims and dispute-related matters.
  • Partner with project and business leaders to protect commercial outcomes and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and develop a Contract Manager, including workload planning, coaching and quality oversight.
  • Act as the key contractual adviser for the assigned portfolio and support improvements to contract processes, templates and best practices.
  • Support third-party due diligence and regional compliance activities, including anti-bribery, competition, data protection and trade compliance.
  • Provide regional legal and contractual guidance, working with external counsel and cross-functional teams where required.
  • Contribute to internal training and regional initiatives across contract management, legal and compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in  Law, Contract Management, Business or a related field.
  • 10–15 years' relevant experience  in legal, contracts or commercial roles within a multinational environment.
  • Strong experience across the  full contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, variations, claims and disputes.
  • Proven ability to manage complex contractual and commercial risks.
  • Experience in  leadership, mentoring or coaching  of legal/contract professionals.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with corporate compliance, third-party due diligence and regulated environments.
