An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Risk Advisory Manager
to join a highly regarded and growing Risk Advisory practice
within a leading professional services business.
team operates as a fully integrated practice, working closely with Legal, Data, Technology and Governance specialists to deliver end‑to‑end risk, regulatory and compliance solutions to a diverse client base across the financial services sector, including banking, superannuation and insurance.
Due to a strong pipeline of work, the business is seeking a high‑performing consulting professional to play a hands‑on role advising tier‑one public and private sector clients on complex risk and regulatory matters. This role is based in Sydney
and offers exposure to high‑profile, market‑shaping matters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
Advising clients on risk management, regulatory compliance and governance matters
Support clients to navigate complex Australian regulatory environments
Assist in the design and delivery of risk management frameworks
Contribute to regulatory uplift programs, enforcement responses and investigations
Support governance reviews and enterprise risk initiatives
Manage and deliver complex, bespoke consulting engagements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across legal, risk, data and technology functions
Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including executive and C‑suite level

To be successful, you will bring:
6+ years’ consulting experience, ideally from a top‑tier professional services or advisory firm
A strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance, particularly within financial services
Working knowledge of Australian regulatory frameworks, including APRA, ASIC and/or AUSTRAC
Demonstrated experience delivering complex, novel or bespoke consulting engagements
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to translate regulation into practical commercial outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
An agile mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork
