About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join the regional commercial team. Based in Singapore, this role will oversee the Malaysia offline business alongside selected export markets, driving sustainable growth and strengthening distributor and retail partnerships across the region.
This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to balance strategic planning alongside hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales performance, profitability and budget management across Malaysia's offline channels and selected export markets
- Develop and execute long-term commercial growth strategies with distributors and retail partners
- Lead sales and trade marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence and business performance
- Partner closely with the marketing team to align brand and trade activation strategies
- Manage contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and trading terms with key stakeholders
- Analyse campaign effectiveness, sales performance, and ROI to identify growth opportunities
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and oversee demand planning processes
- Monitor inventory movement and support operational planning to ensure market demand is met
- Prepare monthly sales reporting and provide commercial insights to leadership
- Identify market gaps, competitive opportunities, and new business growth initiatives
- Support day-to-day business operations and cross-functional collaboration across the region.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of sales or key account management experience within FMCG, personal care, pharmaceutical or healthcare-related industries
- Prior experience managing distributors and/or modern trade channels
- Exposure to the Malaysia FMCG landscape would be highly advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Analytical, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
