We're seeking two experienced Organisational Change Managers to join a portfolio of strategic digital transformation initiatives within a leading higher education institution. These opportunities will support the successful delivery and adoption of major digital programs that will enhance research capability, governance and academic operations. You will be working for a large Sydney based University within a major digital uplift program. 

Opportunity 1: Research Data Governance
  • Support the implementation and adoption of a Research Data Governance program, driving organisational change to improve how research data is governed, managed and used across the institution. You'll work closely with project teams and stakeholders to embed new governance practices, strengthen digital capability and support the successful adoption of new ways of working. 
Opportunity 2: Research Cloud & Unit of Study Coordinator
  • Support two strategic digital transformation projects focused on the implementation of a new Research Cloud platform and improvements to Unit of Study coordination. You'll lead change activities that help researchers, academics and professional staff adopt new digital tools, processes and governance, improving collaboration, research capability and academic operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver organisational change strategies and plans
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across academics, researchers, professional staff and senior leaders
  • Develop communications, training and adoption strategies
  • Assess organisational readiness and support transition planning
  • Produce high-quality change artefacts including change plans, impact assessments, training materials, FAQs and readiness reports
  • Partner closely with project managers, business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes
Essential skills and experience required: 
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the Higher Education sector (essential)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience delivering digital or technology-enabled change initiatives
  • Experience supporting research-focused digital initiatives, including Research Data, Research Governance, Research Systems, Research Platforms or Research Cloud
  • Minimum 2 years' Organisational Change Management experience within large or complex programs
  • Proven experience designing and delivering stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness and adoption strategies
  • Strong experience engaging with senior leaders, academics, researchers and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to develop high-quality change artefacts including impact assessments, communications, training materials and readiness reports
