- Candidates must have relevant renewable energy deals experience in M&A / Transactions/ Corporate finance
Responsibilities would include:
- Lead end-to-end investment process for on-going development activities including JVs, Investments, M&A, divestitures, strategy development, new business development etc
- Prepare RFP’s, investment memos, evaluation of proposals, negotiations leading to the appointment of financial advisors
- Conduct and review financial modelling to assess / support acquisitions, present financial analysis to key stakeholders
- Responsible for integrity of investment returns, due diligence, commercial negotiations, identification of key value drivers and risks, as well as scenario and sensitivity analyses
- Drive projects during delivery and execution phase, serving as main point of escalation in case of any issues
- Support the monitoring and reporting requirements of investment portfolio to shareholders and other relevant stakeholders
- Visit potential site visits to key markets for investment activities (APAC)
- Work with various internal and external stakeholders, i.e. local teams, banks, advisors, etc.
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in power / renewable energy / infrastructure industry (or comparable industries) and/or Project Finance/ M&A
- Team player, family culture, hands on with high exposure, comfortable with working in lean teams
- Good work ethics and can-do attitude
- Excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to work well with different functions and levels
- Good communication, interpersonal, problem solving skills
