Ethos BethChapman is currently recriuting for a Risk & Compliance Manager on behalf of a values‑driven organisation operating in a complex, highly regulated environment. This position will play a pivotal role within their enterprise Legal & Risk function.
Reporting to the Head of Risk, this senior second‑line role will take ownership of enterprise operational risk, incident management and crisis management frameworks, while leading the ongoing enhancement of risk systems, governance and risk maturity across the organisation.
You will work closely with executives and senior leaders to uplift risk capability, embed risk ownership, and deliver high‑quality insights to management and the Board. This role offers genuine influence, autonomy and the opportunity to shape enterprise‑wide risk practices.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading enterprise operational risk management, including risk profiling and Line 1 oversight
Designing and embedding incident and crisis management frameworks and response capability
Owning enterprise risk systems (including Protecht) and associated governance
Developing and maintaining ISO‑aligned risk and compliance frameworks
Delivering clear, insightful executive and Board‑level risk reporting
To be successful, you will bring:
Deep practical experience implementing ISO 31000 and related standards
Proven experience in enterprise risk, incident or crisis management within complex organisations
Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working with Executives and Boards
Capability to uplift organisational risk culture and maturity
Experience with enterprise risk systems (Protecht highly regarded)
