A leading international bank is appointing an Executive Director to lead
its NBFI team covering APAC. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end ownership of regional strategy, client coverage, and revenue growth across the NBFI vertical. The mandate is to build a scalable flow-banking platform, deepen wallet share, and position the bank as a primary partner to institutional clients across the region.
The role carries accountability for setting client and product strategy, originating complex multi-product transactions, and leading cross-functional teams across transaction banking, loan and trade finance, global markets, ECA/DFI financing, and deposits. As lead relationship head, you will drive new partnerships, oversee credit structuring and risk governance for syndicated and structured solutions, and navigate regulatory, liquidity, and country risk considerations across APAC. Strong fluency in global markets products, balance sheet optimisation (HQLA/NSFR), and institutional credit is required.
The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of banking experience, with deep regional exposure managing NBFI clients, and a proven track record of leading
senior client relationships independently. This role suits a strategic, commercially minded leader who can set direction, influence at senior levels, and deliver results within a complex, matrixed global organisation.
