- NSW Government | 6 m onth initial contract
- Long term project with potential for a 2 + year assignment
- Parramatta (Hybrid – PSQ)
- $850 – $950 per day + super
You will work closely with a highly engaged Product Owner, UX specialists, delivery partners and a broader BA team to translate real user needs into high-quality digital outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the Lead BA and a team of four Business Analysts
- Translate complex business processes into future-state digital solutions
- Elicit, analyse and document outcomes, needs, pain points and constraints
- Develop epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items
- Create process maps, BPMN diagrams and business process documentation
- Partner closely with UX designers using strong HCD and design thinking approaches
- Represent user needs throughout delivery and ensure traceability to outcomes
- Work with delivery partners, translating business needs into implementable solutions
- Strong experience as a Digital Business Analyst
- Proven UX and HCD experience, including:
o Identifying user pain points and needs
o Translating insights into digital product features
- Experience working in complex, ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with confident presence
- Ability to influence, manage expectations and maintain strong relationships
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to hit the ground running
