This role sits within the delivery arm of the Data Architecture team, focusing on hands-on implementation and migration of large-scale data platforms across enterprise environments.
The team is expanding to support multiple ongoing regional projects, and these hires will act as technical leads driving the implementation and delivery of big data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and migration projects for enterprise big data platforms.
- Work closely with Senior Architects to translate solution designs into technical execution.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to project delivery teams.
- Support the deployment, integration, and optimisation of modern data platforms.
- Ensure successful project delivery across client environments.
Technical Requirements
Candidates should have hands-on delivery experience with big data platforms such as:
- Cloudera
- AWS
- Databricks
- Google Cloud (GCP)
- Other modern data platform / data lake / analytics environments
- Data platform migration experience
- Experience delivering project-based implementations
- Ability to lead technical workstreams during delivery
Client & Project Exposure
Projects are across APAC clients, including:
- Singapore
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Philippines
- Hong Kong
Travel
- Around 50% travel depending on project allocation.
- Some projects may require short-term client site deployment (up to ~3 months).
- Travel is shared across the architect team, and projects are supported by project managers.
