Responsibilities would include: 
  • Provide support in the origination, coverage and execution of transactions for the Industry
  • Provide sector support, leadership and strategic insights to develop the bank’s consumer, food & agri space
  • Sectoral driven engagement with the bank’s internal and external stakeholders
  • Promote and develop new / future business opportunities across the bank’s corporate & investment banking product suite
  • Support in execution of corporate & structured finance, M&A, capital markets, financial advisory
  • Regional role and coverage – Southeast Asia
  • Support branches and related HO divisions in sector driven business development and/or marketing plan
  • Work together with RMs in client management work
  • Keeping in the loop of all sector & regional trends, clients & targets, market knowledge and industry developments in order to understand the business of the bank's clients and transition developments.
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in the sector, or in investment banking/ corporate finance (current / prior banking or sellside experience is mandatory) 
  • Understanding of Corporate Finance and financial statements, product knowledge in corporate and investment banking products, capital markets
  • Attention to detail, ability to deliver under time pressure
  • Team player
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Good stakeholder management, able to liaise with C-level
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills
  • Leadership experience – can monitor, guide junior team members
