Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the origination, analysis and execution of investments for the Asia Energy Transition Fund (AETF) which will focus on private credit investments in the energy transition space.
  • Originating, evaluating, and executing credit investment opportunities in the Energy Transition (eg. Hydrogen, EV, Batteries, CCUS etc) space
  • Lead development of financial models and associated due diligence on potential investments
  • Negotiating and finalising term sheets with companies
  • Execution of transactions end-to-end, ranging from negotiating terms with companies, putting together investment memos and financial models independently, and presenting to IC
  • Assisting with ongoing management of the investments
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5-8 years experience in originating and executing relevant new energies/ infrastructure / renewable energy deals in SEA
  • Fund raising experience is advantageous
  • Self-driven and can work with minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal and written English skills are essential for internal & external communications and engagement
  • Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management
