This role will manage the region’s technical division, responsible for leading all processes across technical support to sales and customers, new product development, troubleshooting and application.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • New project definition; in collaboration with the global technical development manager and the commercial team.
  • Technical development of new products and functional solutions and successful technical application at customer site
  • Smooth collaboration with Application Lab, Quality, R&D, Production Departments for technological improvements of products
  • Promotion at trade shows, sales meetings and site visits
  • Support to Sales and marketing with technical data sheets, test data
  • Technical solutions to meet customers’ specific requirements
  • On-site trouble shooting and field trials at site
  • Troubleshooting for customer complaints
  • Support in proposals across product, calculations, monitoring techniques, testing method etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors / Masters / PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with at least 5 years of hands on or field working experience in technical development / technical services / R&D
  • Technical experience in the Industrial Water / Process Water Treatment and/or HI&I applications
  • Experience of field evaluations, trials and on site servicing
  • Experience of a laboratory environment and R&D projects
  • Strong communication skills
