The Role:
My Client is a global asset management firm and we are looking for a seasoned Compliance Control Leader to lead the team in Singapore. You will be given the autonomy to run the Control Room function and will be partnering with senior and global leaders within the business.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the implementation of Wall Compliance Programme and Controls related policies within the firm
  • Advise on complex deals and ensure they are in line with rules and regulations
  • Ensure the firm is in line with market abuse and insider trading regulations
  • Lead the Control Room function and strategic implementation of new policies and systems
  • Monitor changes and any discrepancy in trading activities and ensure they are in line with global regulatory standards
  • Conduct Risk and Compliance Assessments and be the point of contact for the Control Room team.

Requirements:
  • A bachelors degree in a reputable university
  • At least 12 to 15 years of experience in a Compliance, ideally Control Room function
  • Strong understanding of regulations and any control and conflict issues.
  • Strong leadership quality in managing and leading a lean team
  • Ability to influence and advise senior leaders
