  • Candidates must have relevant experience as credit analyst / risk in banks, with asset finance transaction exposure
Responsibilities would include:
  • Support execution of financing transactions, review of loan documentation and leading loan administration
  • Act as Deputy to Head of Department
  • Review and complete loan documentation for draw down
  • Manage and implement the firm's key risk policies, including credit and asset risk
  • Manage firm’s portfolio through recommendations on credits to add/exit, supported by analysis and forecasting, with a view to minimising risk by enhancing overall portfolio credit quality
  • Term sheet negotiations, deal with long term contracts
  • Track and monitor loan portfolio, including interest costs, loan covenants and reviewing refinancing needs
  • Participate in strategic discussion or initiatives, simulation of financial impact and analysis of various scenarios, facilitating business decision making

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 7-10 years of experience as credit analysts / risk in banks, with asset finance transaction exposure
  • Able to oversee loan documentation process independently, understand loan drawdown, have good knowledge in credit
  • Shipping / Transportation / Maritime sector exposure is advantageous
  • Excellent self-motivation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive tasks to completion, and achieve results
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the capability to think strategically
  • Solid verbal and written communication ability. 
  • Positive influence with proven ability to lead, motivate, and empower the team
  • Excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to work well with different functions and levels (high visibility to C-level stakeholders and HQ)
