Responsibilities would include:
  • 70% Financial due diligence (FDD) and buy-side advisory work | 30% M&A
  • Be involved in execution of FDD, and buy-side advisory engagements with a regional focus, be part of a cross-border engagements
  • Analyse historical financial data and identify operational and key business trends, including identification of key risks, assessment of quality of earnings, working capital requirements of businesses, and net-cash/ debt assessments of targets
  • Participate in meetings with the target's management team.
  • Work on M&A advisory projects, helping organisations achieve their strategic plans via acquisitions, divestitures, or other corporate exercises
  • Assist in deal origination through the preparation of relevant materials, including the Information Memorandum, blind teasers.
  • Perform financial analysis, and industry research.
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in audit, corporate finance, deal advisory, transaction advisory, FDD
  • Technically robust, energetic and culturally adaptable
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English written, oral and presentation skills for internal & external communications and engagement.
  • Good team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
