Our client who is a leading architecture firm is seeking a Senior Architectural Associate in Singapore.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on space planning assignments, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction observation.
  • Prepare compelling storytelling presentations (using PowerPoint or other media) and develop coherent sets of tender drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project goals.
  • Review shop drawing submissions and finish samples to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Conduct site observations to monitor construction progress and verify that planning and design intent are successfully implemented.
  • Perform QA/QC on all works, both independently and as part of a team.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture with 3-5 years relevant experience in architectural practice.
  • Excel in 3D modelling, visualisation, and graphic software; BIM skillset is strongly preferred. Others include AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Enscape, Adobe and as well as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, authority requirements, and compliance protocols.
  • Experience in Healthcare Projects would be a plus.
