We are currently looking for Actuarial professionals in the GI space to join one of Australia’s leading general insurers. You will be responsible for preparing and developing models to identify risks, impacts to profitability, opportunities and designing strategies to support decision making. The role reports to a Senior Actuarial Manager.

Responsibilities:
- IFRS17 project work
- Conducting data and statistical analysis, projections, predictive modelling, and reporting on trends
- Reporting on reserving and/or capital management assumptions
- Providing insights to internal stakeholders and supporting business decisions
- Contributing to the development, improvement and implementation of risk identification and actuarial reporting process
- Training and supporting junior analysts

Role requirements:
- 3-4+ years actuarial experience, ideally in GI
- Exposure to valuations/reserving ideal
- Relevant qualifications - partly qualified
- Knowledge and experience using tools such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Emblem, etc.
