An opportunity has come up with one of Singapore’s up and coming commodity firm within the energy space. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in the energy/LNG space as an asset, but welcome backgrounds from other commodities as well.

The ideal candidate would possess a bachelor’s degree in related field or have equivalent experience along with 3-4 years of related work experience with a commodity firm. In order to succeed in the role, the candidate must have a good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices and be fluent in English & Mandarin to converse with stakeholders based mainly in Singapore and China.


Some responsibilities are listed below but not limited to:
  • Responsible for all statutory financial statements, management reporting, Marked-to-Market (MTM) including GST, WHT and annual tax filing
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, annual closings and year-end audit
  • Involve in cost calculations on vessel revenue and voyage expenses, monthly P&L and weekly forecast
  • Maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders over a spectrum of finance matters
  • Support in implementation of finance projects and systems
  • Provide support in group consolidation work and Corporate Taxes matters including but not limited to Corporate Income Tax, GST and Transfer Pricing
  • Improve and simplify existing processes
  • Any other Accounting and Finance related duties assigned
