EBC have partnered with a cutting-edge Fintech startup to find a passionate Sales Lead who can work directly with the founder and shape the new-business sales and client management strategy as they launch their product into the market.

This innovative solution sits at the intersection of financial services and technology, to empower employees in making independent financial decisions whilst also providing employers with a unique company-wide benefit for their employees, giving them a valuable competitive edge in talent retention and employee satisfaction.

This is a truly exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sales Lead to join a promising start up in the early stage of their life-cycle growth journey. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage and nurture warm leads and maximise conversion rates.
  • Take full ownership of the sales process, from initial contact to deal closing, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for prospects.
  • Identify and exploit niche markets within the Tech, Financial Services, and Professional Services sectors, spearheading new business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for upselling and engagement.
  • Demonstrate the capability and ambition to grow into a role that involves building and leading a dedicated sales team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product to effectively communicate its benefits and features to clients.

Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the Employee Benefits / Rewards world with experience selling into HR stakeholders across sectors such as professional services, tech or financial services. Previous experience in a start-up environment is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional sales and client management skills, with a proven track record of exceeding targets. Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A self-starter with high energy and ambition. Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and translate them into effective sales strategies. A balance between big-picture thinking and willingness to deliver results.
  • Experience in a start up environment will be highly advantageous.
