A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Risk Specialist to join this leading Sydney based council, in a multi-faceted risk management role.

The Risk Specialist will provide risk management leadership and direction to all business units within the organisation and will have oversight of the implementation and maintenance of the enterprise risk management framework.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Local government experience including knowledge of local government processes, controls, meetings practice and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience with, or strong knowledge of, risk based internal audit programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience with, or strong knowledge of, insurance and or claims management.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to management multiple projects meet strict deadlines and deliver identified outcomes.
