We're looking for technically sound Risk & Compliance Managers with recent, hands-on experience in the Superannuation space. This role is to service the Superannuation business within a Tier-1 Wealth Management services provider as a dedicated Line 2 resource. 

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Managers and Executive Managers in incident and issue management, risk and compliance advisory, project engagement, training, risk / compliance framework reviews, review and challenge of key strategic initiatives.
  • Perform compliance assessments and provide fit-for-purpose advice.
  • Provide risk management advice on strategic, regulatory change and remediation projects.
  • Work on ad hoc and strategic projects engagement and manage associated risks.
  • Create framework documents for the Risk Management Framework (e.g. Incident / Issue management templates and training).
  • Provide training to the Wealth business (Line 1).
  • Report on thematic reviews undertaken with the Risk team.
  • Manage performance improvement criteria.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of operational risk and compliance experience, preferably in Wealth Management.
  • Strong stakeholder liaison and engagement skills.
  • Ability to present at Risk Forums and Leadership forums as an Risk / Compliance SME.
  • Commercial acumen, with demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (SIS Act, ASIC Breach Reporting, Corporations Act, SPS prudential standards).
  • Experience in wealth & superannuation remediation projects is desirable.
