Responsibilities would include: 

  • Provide insolvency & restructuring services – working with companies in financial distress, seek to enhance and maximise recovery to stakeholders
  • Also provide other services such as liquidation (voluntary/ court appointed), receiver and manager, judicial manager, scheme administrator, trustee or nominee in individual bankruptcy, monitoring accountant, due diligence engagements etc
  • Forensic accounting - Work closely with solicitors on sensitive matters and assist with accounting knowledge in various litigation including: shareholder disputes, fraud investigations, quantification of economic loss and damages, asset tracing & investigation on fund flows, valuation under Litigious Settings, including Matrimonial Dispute etc
  • Work onsite to assist the team with the orderly winding down of distressed companies
  • Manage creditor enquiries
  • Assist in administrative and statutory obligations in the insolvency process
  • Attend meetings with clients and key stakeholders
  • Review and analyze financial information
  • Assist in drafting reports
 

Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in a similar field or corporate finance/ audit (able to analyze financial statements)
  • Have strong initiative and analytical skills
  • Able to work in a lean team, enjoy high exposure, visibility and flexibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good stakeholder management; able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
