Our Client is a global Securities brokerage, seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance professional based in Japan. Working closely with the Head of Compliance, you will formulate and implement internal controls and compliance policies and procedures, and assist with EDD, Transaction Monitoring and filing of STRs.

Experience with regulatory advisory and reporting, as well as understanding of FATCA, QI and CRS requirements will be advantageous.
 

You will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5-7 years of working experience, preferably from a compliance function in a retail brokerage firm.
  • Possess knowledge of rules and regulations relating to retail brokerage including associations and exchange rules.
  • Experience working with regulators required
  • Understanding of FACTA, QI and CRS requirements would be beneficial.
  • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business Japanese proficiency is required, and English proficiency is a plus, for internal & external communications and engagement.
