This is a Senior B2B Product Lead who can drive the design and build of a platform to sell to banks and will be familiar with software/ core banking products/ orchestration/ cash management services etc.
The Role Responsibilities:
You will lead a multidisciplinary team as part of a broader portfolio to design, develop and deliver one of our key product or service propositions. You are a digital native with a natural intuition for design and technology, coupled with a strategic mindset. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high degrees of ambiguity, get excited by solving complex problems and are happy to roll your sleeves up and get things done.
Our Ideal Candidate
Lead a multidisciplinary team from project inception to scoping, design, concept testing and delivery
Act as the product owner to define and manage the product backlog, prioritising feature releases in line with the broader roadmap
Be the voice of the customer in the definition of your product/service, and collaborate with other product owners to converge on a broader coherent proposition
Provide insights into product, technology and market trends, preempting imminent disruptions and identifying opportunities for acceleration
Work with UX and Service Design to gain an understanding of user personas, pain points and journeys
Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing
Support your portfolio lead with developing and monitoring budgets for project delivery
Assist in developing the economic model, business plan and operating model for your proposition
Design, monitor and report on product KPIs
Facilitate the build and testing of operational processes, systems and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
Must have worked at a Digital Bank or at a start-up building a product for the financial services industry
Digital industry experience and/or product/service development
Product Ownership experience
A bachelor’s degree in a technical or design discipline
An MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)
Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies
A strong customer focus and a natural inclination to let empirical research define and inform product/service priorities
Hands on experience with agile development methodologies
An ability to think strategically and creatively
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication
