The Organisation & The Role

An established global wholesale bank in Australia is looking for young and motivated business & private bankers to join and help the set up new business lines, as a result of organic growth.  

Main Duties
  • Manage a book of High Net Worth (HNW) clients, pay regular visits and assist them with their banking needs (ie. Deposit, FX, Personal & SME Lending etc.)
  • Assist senior team members with credit analysis, report writing, client information maintenance and loan portfolio monitoring.
  • Conduct initial client due diligence review / KYC, ongoing due diligence review and AML & Sanction screening.
  • Work with the Head of Private & Business Banking on the transactions and product design according to the Bank’s strategy and management instructions.
  • Report to senior management on client feedback and market / industry trends.
  • Ensure and comply with all the policies and procedures stipulated by Head Office and branch are well observed.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of banking experiences in Australia; preferably from Business / Commercial, Private or Corporate Banking.
  • Solid understanding of the Business / Private Banking products offered by Australian banks and the operation processes.
  • Any experience in Trade & Receivable Finance is highly desirable.
  • Must be proficient in Mandarin and English.
  • Have high level of initiatives, with effective time management skills to meet demanding deadlines.
