Responsibilities:
 
  • Be involved in the origination and execution effort of the advisory team, with an initial focus on M&A
  • Key deal team leader for buyside and sellside M&A transactions from start to end, dealing directly with the client’s deal team and making sure timelines are met and deliverables are of high quality
  • Work with the team to prepare presentations for origination purposes/ client meetings and liaise with internal control functions to ensure appropriate risk management
  • Build/ Review detailed financial models to evaluate performance under various operating scenarios and to analyze the impacts of different capital structures and potential financing, debt capital markets or M&A transactions
  • Create own client network by developing strong working relationships with clients, stay up-to-date with knowledge on industry trends and targets
  • Coordinate efforts with deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders
 

Profile of Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance advisory/ M&A/ Big 4 / Buyside/ Private equity
  • Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
  • Team player, family culture
  • Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
  • Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
  • Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
  • Strong problem solving skills
