  • Permanent headcount, based in Singapore
  • Investment holding company with diversified business dealings in a few sectors, globally
  • 5 days (Mon-Fri) work from office
 
Responsibilities would include:
  • To perform stock research and analysis as well as to conduct ad hoc portfolio related duties as and when required
  • Prepare macroeconomic/investment presentations and market reports at the end of each reporting period and whenever required
  • To update and review fund/portfolio performances and to ensure that all funds/portfolios adhere to regulatory and compliance issue
  • To collect, update and analyze data and perform sectoral and financial modelling, track model accuracy by comparing projections with actual financial outcomes
  • Perform analysis on Portfolio Return Against Benchmark to measure how portfolios perform relative to set benchmarks (e.g., exceeding specific index returns by a target percentage)
  • Prepare Cost per Research Report to monitor costs associated with producing research reports, aiming for efficient resource usage
 
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline 
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and investment strategies – good technical and comfortable with number crunching
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with attention to detail
  • Team player, family culture
  • Certifications: CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are a plus
  • Strong in statistics and commercial experience in Buy-Side
  • Able to speak at least conversational mandarin as you may need to deal with Chinese stakeholders
