A leading financial institution is looking to appoint a senior leader to drive its retail deposit strategy in Singapore. This is a high-impact role with full ownership of the deposit portfolio, tasked with shaping propositions, driving growth, and ensuring long-term sustainability. Work with a progressive leadership team to lead a key revenue and funding pillar with end-to-end ownership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of deposit strategies across CASA, time deposits, and other liability products.
  • Oversee product design, pricing, customer segmentation, and go-to-market initiatives to drive deposit growth and profitability.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and implement proactive measures to manage cost of funds, product mix, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Digital, Data, Distribution, and Risk teams to deliver compelling, customer-centric solutions.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and evolving market trends in deposits and cash management.

Requirements:
  • At least 10–12 years of experience in retail banking, with significant exposure to deposits, product management, or portfolio strategy.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore’s retail banking landscape and customer behaviour.
  • Proven track record in driving deposit growth and optimising balance sheet performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, coupled with strategic vision and execution capabilities.
  • Experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
