The Role

We are looking for a senior and capable individual to lead our high-calibre Talent Engagement Team (TET) and Sourcing Excellence Team’s (SET) within our Enablement Office. This role will be regional in scope giving you the opportunity to travel across all our offices in Asia. This person would be able to sit in either Singapore, Hong Kong, or the Philippines.

The TET and SET were conceived to add market leading candidate support for our Consultants and is therefore crucial part of our business. The TET and SET’s key strengths include uncovering hard-to-find candidates, candidate research and building shortlists, market mapping, retainer delivery and possessing in-depth market expertise. TET focuses around more senior, technical and retained/exclusive roles and are heavily involved with candidate interaction.

The Head of Research and Consultant Support will play a pivotal role across three main areas:

1. Technology & Process Improvement

  • Take the initiative to understand EBCs technology stack and general operating environment as it pertains to the TET

  • Proactively seek to create efficiencies, better ways-of-working and automations within the TET function

  • Take a lead to manage existing ongoing projects through current phases and ultimately, successful completion

  • Influence a generalised adoption of ATS and CRM systems, data driven work styles, and a culture of continuous improvement

2. Leadership & Training

  • Effectively manage and lead a team of 25+ talent engagement and sourcing/delivery experts across APAC

  • Discuss and identify individual target areas of development and drive consistent performance

  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies for the overall development and continuous upskilling of the team

  • Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and be persistent in delivering world-class sourcing capabilities

3. Sourcing Support & Execution

  • Successful execution on complex and senior-level mandates and searches via strategic and multi-channel sourcing methodologies

  • Mastery of sourcing technologies such as Robotic Process Automation and AI tools

  • Contribution to the development and implementation of candidate initiatives such as newsletters, marketing campaigns and sourcing strategies

Experience and qualifications

  • A degree in business, information systems or a related discipline

  • Minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in recruitment or corporate talent acquisition.

  • Minimum 3+ years of leading a recruitment or corporate talent acquisition team.

  • Prior experience sourcing and qualifying senior candidates for a variety of roles

  • Prior experience in business analysis, data, change management, or process improvement preferred but not a must

  • Passion and drive to be a subject matter expert with the latest technologies concerning the headhunting and talent management industry

  • High organisation skills with ability to hit deadlines and work to timelines

  • Strong problem-solving skill

  • Excellent communication skills to influence and work with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds

  • Understanding data / market insights where data insights and decision making is the norm
