The Role:

Client is a well-known global orgnisation within the financial services industry.  An exciting opportunity to join this leading team and business immediately.  Candidates have an opportunity to get extended.  You will be a part of the regulatory team based in Hong Kong.  The role will be varied and will require an adaptable and driven individual who is interested in working closely with the business.

Responsibilities: 
  • Working closely with the business units
  • Driving initiatives and market developments
  • Strong financial controllership
  • Supporting the review and management oversight
  • Management oversight of deliverables from offshore finance teams
  • Financial reporting processes, including submissions and analysis of results into the Group Consolidation system
  • Key areas of responsibility for the regulatory reporting team
  • Preparation of governance papers
  • Continuous improvement, finance transformation initiatives
  • Providing SME input to the IFRS17 programme, particularly on financial reporting processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Managerial experience
  • Team player with superior communication, interpersonal and language skills
  • Detail oriented, motivated individual with excellent analytical and agile
  • Regulatory reporting exposure
  • Immediately available
