  • Require someone who can do carbon accounting, carbon calculations, reporting, financial analysis

Responsibilities would include: 
  • Review GHG emission data inputs submitted by data owners to ensure compliance with Group’s requirements, resolve issues to achieve on-time submission, promote transfer of sustainability-related knowledge to the owners
  • Assist with the group’s scopes 1,2,3 GHG emissions calculation and inventory development, and identify improvement & efficiency opportunities to achieve higher process efficiency
  • Handle queries from external auditors and facilitate closure of any findings
  • Assist with system implementation and process automation to refine reporting processes
  • Proactively track and evaluate the development of climate risk disclosures in the region, keeping a watchful eye on emerging trends and the changing regulatory landscape
  • Assist with the implementation of the organization’s climate-related financial statement metrics and related disclosures in a note to its audited financial statements
  • Establish strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels
 
Profile of Ideal Candidate: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience within sustainability / ESG
  • Must be strong with numbers, data, financial analysis, and know calculation of Scope 1 & 2 emissions following GHG protocol
  • Basic knowledge of key sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g. GRI, UN SDG, TCFD)
  • Possess strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering desired results
  • Strong team player who thrives on excellence and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders from various background
