Our banking client is now looking for a manager to manage a team of 15 to take care of critical trading systems across multiple asset classes. You will be the suitable candidate if you have strong financial knowledge in pricing and FX, strong knowledge in SDLC (both Agile/ Waterfall), and strong communication skills to work alongside front office uses ( Traders/ Sales and etc.).
 
Responsibilities
  • Managing application software delivery:
  • Responsible for both in-build and vendor system.
  • Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project’s requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
  • Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution
  • Plan, manage and monitor risks/issues related to technical delivery
  • Provide status update to stake-holders/business users and program manager
  • Lead and partner with developers, testers, business analysts and SME’s to drive technical delivery
  • Partner with enterprise architects to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
  • Partner with testers to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing
  • Prepare and manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure smooth production cutover and adequate post implementation support
  • Manage level 3 support and production issues.
  • Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
 
Job Requirements
  • Over 10 years’ experience in working on e-trading system, ideally in FX.
  • Experienced in leading an agile development and testing automation team.
  • Strong financial business domain knowledge in e-trading. Optionally in FX, bonds, equities, derivatives and structured products. (Add advantage in FX and Pricing)
  • Good in mathematical and logical problem solving as this role involves understanding of complex pricing calculations.
  • Communicates well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
