  • Portfolio covers Transportation finance, but looking for a strong Aviation professional for this hire
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead origination, structuring, and execution of structured finance mandates in Asia, focusing on senior client relationships and adding new-to-bank relationships
  • Actively manage client portfolios, identify risks, and ensure compliance with credit and risk criteria
  • Stay updated on aviation and structured finance trends, leveraging insights to engage clients and identify business opportunities
  • Align efforts with the Global Transportation Finance strategy
  • Oversee end-to-end deal processes, including pitching, due diligence, credit engagement, approval processes, and legal documentation
  • Originate transactions and target cross-sell opportunities by leveraging relationships and expertise
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across functions, geographies, and businesses to drive deal execution and manage multiple deals simultaneously
  • Interface with clients to deliver high-quality pitches, maintain industry standards, and structure innovative financing solutions across capital structures
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • 10+ years of work experience in a bank or financial institution in aviation finance and/or transportation finance
  • Excellent knowledge of the aviation industry is a must-have requirement with an established industry network and experience working with airlines and lessors
  • Broader experience in shipping finance, corporate finance, structured finance and/or project finance is desirable
  • Expertise on financing across debt structures including but not limited to senior secured deals, junior / mezz facilities, leasing structures, warehousing facilities, and working knowledge of other capital markets and structured products (e.g.- ABS) in the industry
  • Strong demonstrated credentials in leading large complex well-structured transactions and confidently dealing with senior management of clients
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for excellence
