  • Candidates must have Real Estate sector experience with a commercial bank, investment bank and/or real estate fund/ buyside. Structuring/ private credit/ mezzanine deal experience is highly relevant as well

Responsibilities would include:
  • Actively participate in the origination and negotiation of new loans and deal structuring, including determining loan terms, pricing, and covenants. Experience in loan on loan structures/ back leverage
  • Develop real estate private credit space across APAC, looking at higher risk transactions
  • Develop and find strategies to improve corporate lending business
  • Lead the team in marketing and growing the non-recourse property finance business in Asia Pacific
  • Oversee end-to-end deal execution and documentation
  • Lead internal processes with management, credit, risk, legal and compliance departments. Prepare term sheets and detailed loan proposals for internal approval
  • Review credit applications, cash flow projections and property memos
  • Lead the team in monitoring and analysis of the property loan portfolio in APAC

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • At least 10-15 years’ experience with a commercial bank, investment bank and/or real estate fund
  • Strong understanding and ability to interpret financial statements and complex financing structures
  • Understanding of the real estate market in Asia (especially Korea, India Vietnam) with good credit sense
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and one other language widely used in Asia for internal & external communications and engagement
  • Proactive and able to problem-solve
  • Strong leadership potential with a positive attitude
  • Well organised with attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
