Responsibilities would include:

  • Responsible for helping shape the firm’s strategy by identifying industry trends, maintaining relationships with relevant external partners, as well as sourcing, negotiating, evaluating, structuring, and executing strategic acquisitions/investments across all of the firm's corporate and business unit level
  • Work on corporate development projects – JVs, Investments, M&A, Acquisitions, divestitures, strategy development, new business development
  • Work with senior management, C-suite, regional and business executives, to contribute to and lead high performing cross-functional project teams
  • Support business unit coverage to keep an ongoing flow of ideas that is aligned with their objectives
  • Assist with tracking of pipeline, market outreach and deal flow for ongoing discussions with key business sponsors and stakeholders
  • Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations meant to develop and capitalize business opportunities
  • Mentor juniors where necessary
  • Monitor and keep up to date regularly on relevant sector / industry trends and market news/ information


Profile of ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's or MBA degree in any discipline
  • MANDATORY: Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience, with current or previous work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting or buyside private equity
  • Highly advantageous if you have above sector knowledge or worked on deals here before
  • Proven ability to lead teams across diverse backgrounds and ability to work with teams across functions and businesses on transactions, including senior leadership
  • Prior experience in managing a transaction process and leading a transaction team, from start to end including target identification through to closing; driving due diligence, valuation, structuring, and SPA negotiations. Have firm understanding of a deal process and typical points of friction in a transaction
  • Collaborative by nature; good stakeholder management - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethics
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
