The Role:

A reputable international law firm is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join their team in Hong Kong. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for:
  • Evaluating new clients and related parties to identify any higher-risk areas
  • Conducting periodic reviews of existing clients to complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
  • Performing background checks for regulatory compliance
  • Ensuring enhanced due diligence procedures are followed and escalating matters as needed
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters
  • Maintaining the compliance database and assisting with process improvements
  • Providing compliance guidance across the organization
  • Handling administrative duties related to compliance
 
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of compliance experience, AML/KYC/CDD experience from financial services are highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, with relevant compliance certifications an advantage
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) 
  • Candidates with ICA or ACAMS qualifications would be a plus as you will liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.
