A leading global financial services firm is seeking an exceptional individual to join the Operations team as a Client Lifecycle Specialist.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure complete documentation and compliance to obligations under relevant AML regulations in client onboarding process, with the appropriate level of customer due diligence applied 
  • Research and analyse background of new and existing clients, be able to communicate any reasons for rejection 
  • Perform regular periodic reviews 
  • Provide day-to-day KYC/AML advice and guidance to front office personnel 
  • Identify and escalate to the Legal, Compliance or MLRO (Advisory), based on escalation matrix, any issues, risks or control weaknesses in onboarding process, work/low systems and controls and suggest possible solutions
  • Maintain and suggest process improvements related to the KYC/AML processes for all business products
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Ideal candidate should: 
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experiences dealing with institutions (FIs, NBFIs)
  • Demonstrate understanding of KYC/AML documentation and processes 
  • Possess working knowledge of financial regulations affecting KYC/AML client onboarding 
  • Display good interpersonal communication skills 
  • Be detailed, analytical, and able to work well under pressure
