Responsibilities would include:
  • Be involved in a comprehensive range of transactions including sell-side and buy-side advisory, M&A, public offers, management & leveraged buyouts etc for leading Financial Institutions
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials to support origination efforts and maintenance of client relationships / prospective clients
  • Support seniors and lead execution of mandated transactions, identify risks and possible solutions in the course of execution
  • Client management and managing day-to-day deal work - Financial analyses and building financial models to value companies and businesses, constructing and reviewing valuation and other financial outputs
  • Facilitating due diligence and participation in DD meetings / discussions
  • Preparing client investment memoranda, Board or Investment Committee presentations, specific debt and equity agreements and other documentation in connection with the transactions
  • Meeting the transaction timetable, including engagement with stakeholders to ensure key milestones are met
  • Conduct research and analysis on markets, companies and industries

Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • At least 2-3 years of work experience in the Financial Institutions sector or in M&A
  • Self-motivated, takes initiative and strong team player
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical abilities and understanding of financial statement analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations
  • Strong financial modelling, technical skills
