An internationally recognised law firm with a leading private client and tax practice is looking for a US qualified tax associate to join its US Tax team in Singapore. • Working with US and international trusts, private trust companies, foundations, holding structures and family offices
  • Advising on FATCA and CRS reporting and wider tax compliance regimes

  • Drafting trusts, wills and related wealth-transfer documentation

About You
  • US qualified: admitted to practice law in a US state (State Bar admission required)
  • JD required; an LL.M. in Taxation or a law school concentration in taxation or estate planning is strongly preferred
  • Typically 2nd to 5th year associate level, or around 4 to 5 years of relevant tax experience
  • Solid grounding in US federal income tax, estate and gift tax, the intersection of partnership and corporate tax, and cross-border planning
  • Strong technical and commercial judgement, with the ability to think laterally and offer practical solutions
  • Confident, client-facing communication skills and comfort working across multiple offices and jurisdictions
