Responsibilities:
- Own and manage relationships with ASIC foundries, wafer fabs, and packaging/test suppliers to secure continuity of supply and competitive pricing
- Negotiate cost, wafer allocation and lead times across ASIC and semiconductor suppliers
- Track supplier performance against quality, delivery and capacity metrics, driving improvement plans where required
- Manage supply chain risk across the supplier base, including allocation constraints, single-source exposure and capacity shortages
- Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure supplier readiness for new product introductions and technology roadmaps
- Own supplier contracts, SLAs and commercial terms, and support demand forecasting and capacity planning discussions
Requirements:
- Solid experience in supplier/vendor management or procurement within semiconductor, ASIC, or electronics components
- Working knowledge of the ASIC value chain — design, foundry, wafer fab, and packaging/test
- Strong negotiation and commercial track record with foundries or OEM suppliers
- Experience managing supply risk and capacity planning in constrained, allocation-driven markets
- Comfortable operating cross-functionally with engineering, operations and finance stakeholders
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related field preferred
