An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Analyst to join a major Workforce Management transformation program at one of Australia's leading universities. Working within a collaborative project team, you'll play a key role in shaping future workforce planning and workforce management capabilities, supporting a significant program focused on modernising workforce processes and ensuring compliance across a complex workforce environment.

This role is looking for an experienced BA with experience working end to end across a Workforce Management Systems implementation project, including translating problems into requirements, making suggestions on best solution, being involved in the vendor selection/procurement stage of a suitable solution and then implementing the system. 

Key responsibilities
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct current and future state process mapping.
  • Perform business process analysis and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support workforce management and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Workforce Planning and Technology teams.
  • Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including process maps, user stories and requirements documentation.
  • Support business case development and project delivery activities.
Experience Required:
  • Implementation of Workforce Management platforms (UKG, Kronos, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Humanforce, Dayforce, TechnologyOne or similar).
  • NSW Government or Higher Education experience (Highly regarded)
  • Workforce Planning transformation experience.
  • Demonstrated Business Analyst experience working on a workforce systems implementation project end to end. 
  • Experience delivering Workforce Management or Workforce Planning system implementations.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience documenting business requirements and business processes.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience working within complex organisations.
