We're partnering a leading brokerage to identify an experienced Sales Trader for their Singapore desk. The successful candidate will step into a revenue-generating role with coverage responsibilities over an existing institutional client base.
About the Organiation
Our client is a well-established institutional equities house with a strong research-driven platform and significant footprint across Asia-Pacific. The business serves a diverse institutional client base including asset managers and sovereign wealth funds.
The Role
The Sales Trader will manage and develop a portfolio of long-only institutional accounts in Singapore. This is an individual contributor role focused on cash equities execution and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop assigned long-only institutional account coverage, driving revenue and deepening client relationships
- Advise clients on trading strategies, market intelligence, and flow trends to achieve best execution
- Coordinate closely with global execution desks, sales, and research teams to deliver integrated client solutions
- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities across the broader product suite
- Maintain accurate and timely execution standards across all client transactions
Candidate Profile
- 6–12 years of cash equities sales trading experience at a reputable institutional brokerage
- Established coverage of long-only institutional accounts in Singapore; demonstrable client relationships at asset manager or sovereign wealth fund level
- Strong execution capabilities with sound understanding of front-to-back process flow and associated risk
- Track record of stability — sustained tenure across roles with meaningful account ownership
