Our client is an established Singapore-headquartered supply chain software company with a strong footprint across Asia Pacific. It builds and operates its own software suite supporting complex logistics operations, spanning Warehouse Management, Transport Management, Order Management and related supply chain processes, used by enterprise customers across the region.
Having grown over many years by responding to individual customer requirements, the business is now moving deliberately towards a more structured, product-led model. A newly created Product Manager position has been established to bring clear roadmap ownership and product discipline to how its core platforms are developed going forward.
The role reports directly to the CEO and is an individual contributor position with high visibility across the organisation.
Job responsibilities
- Own the product direction and roadmap for the core supply chain applications, with an initial focus on Transport Management and Warehouse Management, alongside selected Order Management capabilities.
- Lead the modernisation of a product estate that has evolved over many years, with an early focus on improving product usability, user experience, functionality and how new capabilities are delivered.
- Bring greater structure and product discipline into an organisation with deep operational and domain expertise, where formal product-management practices are still developing.
- Assess existing products and identify where functionality, user experience, workflows and delivery can be improved, without unnecessarily rebuilding the underlying architecture.
- Develop and prioritise a practical roadmap covering enhancements, modernisation initiatives and new capabilities.
- Work with engineering to translate product priorities into clear requirements, releases and delivery plans.
- Partner with UX and design to lift the usability and overall experience of the applications.
- Work with Sales and Account Management to understand evolving customer and market demand, including growing interest in AI, and feed the relevant themes into the roadmap.
- Assess how AI and emerging technologies, including automation, analytics and agentic AI, can be applied across existing and future products.
- Give senior leadership clear visibility of product priorities, progress, dependencies and direction.
This is an internally focused product role. Customer insight comes largely through the sales and account teams rather than direct customer ownership, and the focus is on product-led modernisation of the existing suite rather than re-architecting the underlying platforms.
Job requirements
- Solid product management or product ownership experience, with demonstrated ownership of roadmaps and prioritisation.
- Experience with supply chain or logistics software, ideally Transport Management (TMS) and/or Warehouse Management (WMS) systems. Order Management (OMS) exposure is an advantage.
- A background on the technology, software or product side of the industry rather than primarily logistics operations or supply chain business functions.
- A track record of turning business and market demand into structured product plans, requirements and priorities.
- Experience improving or modernising established software products, particularly around functionality, UI/UX, product consistency and delivery.
- Enough technical fluency to work credibly with engineering on integrations, APIs and data, without needing to be an engineer.
- A good grasp of current AI developments, including generative AI, agentic workflows, intelligent automation and predictive capabilities, and how to apply them in enterprise products. Hands-on AI delivery is a plus, but strong applied understanding and the ability to build AI into a roadmap matter just as much.
Why you should join them
This is a chance to take a real product-building mandate rather than inherit a fixed feature backlog. The organisation is making a deliberate shift from customer-driven development towards a structured product model, so there is genuine scope to shape how its core supply chain platforms evolve and how product decisions get made.
The role reports directly to the CEO and works on WMS and TMS products already live across regional markets. The focus is not a wholesale technology rebuild but making established products materially better in usability, delivery and direction, while introducing newer capabilities, including AI, where they add real value.
For someone who wants to bring structure to an established product environment and take meaningful ownership of how a core product suite evolves, there is considerable room to make an impact.
