An FMCG company with a strong regional footprint are hiring an experienced Procurement Manager to step into a newly created role that plays a pivotal part in strengthening regional procurement capability. This position offers a rare blend of category management, market intelligence, and hedging activities, giving you the opportunity to shape procurement strategy in a dynamic environment.
As Procurement Manager, you will lead category management and develop sourcing strategies that optimise cost, quality, risk, and supplier performance. You will monitor global and regional market trends impacting procurement categories, support hedging‑related procurement activities to mitigate pricing volatility and develop forecasting and scenario analyses to guide decision‑making. In addition, you will mentor and train South East Asia procurement teams, building capability and consistency across markets.
The successful candidate will have experience in indirect procurement and regional category management. You will be skilled in market analysis and hedging as well as a proven track record in coaching, developing, and influencing teams across multiple markets.
