Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance KDB+/q solutions to support electronic trading, market data, and analytics platforms.
- Build and optimise real-time and historical data pipelines for high-performance data processing.
- Partner with traders, quantitative analysts, and technology teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate KDB+ with Python and related platforms while improving data quality, performance, and platform stability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing solutions using KDB+ and q within complex technology environments.
- Proven experience working in Capital Markets, supporting trading, risk, or market data platforms.
- Strong expertise in real-time market data, time-series databases, and large-scale data processing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of KDB+, including q language, qSQL, data structures, and performance optimisation.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting solutions within Linux-based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, translate business requirements, and deliver effective technical solutions.
