Are you a driven internal audit professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Internal
Audit Manager
to join a high-performing team, in a large Chartered Firm, working with a diverse portfolio of clients in the Financial Services, Utilities, Mining and Government sectors
based in Brisbane (QLD).
In these positions, you'll be at the forefront of delivering risk-based operational, compliance, and internal audits, with opportunities to get involved in specialised audits
including ESG
and broader emerging risk work.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end internal audits across a range of government clients.
- Engage in specialised audit areas including ESG and Emerging Risk (DA/AI) projects.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across diverse entities.
- Collaborate with a supportive, inclusive, and culturally diverse team.
- Work flexibly in a hybrid model with the ability to manage your own time and workload.
- Train, coach and guide juniors.
✅ About You:
Qualified or part-qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, CISA or other, a degree-holder with 2+ years of internal audit experience (industry, government or chartered).
Proven ability to lead audits end to end.
Previous experience within external audit will be considered, however some Internal Audit or Risk Assurance experience is needed.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proactive, adaptable and a collaborative team player.
Comfortable working independently and within team environments.
Australian & NZ Citizenship or SPOUSE or VISA holders are welcome to apply; however you will already be established in Brisbane.
