- The role: Business Analyst – ICT - Federal Government
- Contract length: 12 Month Contract + 2 x 12 month Extensions
- Start: July 2026
- Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
- Location: ACT (Onsite)
- Australian Citizens only- Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and model current and future business processes and information flows
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, structured artefacts including:
- Business requirements and specifications
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Process maps and service design artefacts
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Conduct research, analysis and investigations aligned to departmental policies
- Evaluate solution options and provide strategic recommendations
- Support delivery across Agile environments, including digital and web-based systems
- Strong experience facilitating workshops and developing:
- Business scenarios, process maps, data models and use cases
- Proven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience working on complex digital/ICT projects in Agile environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience delivering IT service implementations
- Exposure to Office technologies and related requirements
- Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog and user story management
- Knowledge or experience with Dynamics 365 or Power Platform
